Africa’s greatest asset isn’t her natural resources — it’s her youth.
With the average age of her population pegged at 19 years old, the future of our families, nations, and the world lies in the hands of teenagers growing up today.
But adolescence is a fragile bridge — and far too many teens are falling through the cracks.
That’s Why We Exist.
More than a decade ago, I made a life-changing decision: to help teenagers navigate the defining transition phase between childhood and adulthood. I knew from the start that passion alone wouldn’t cut it — I needed a proven, research-backed model that guaranteed real, measurable results.
Rather than reinvent the wheel, I align myself with an institution that had already done the work — MouldAfrica and EQ2Homes, birthed by my boss and mentor Engr. Tekena Ikoko, FNSE (Executive Partner at Experience Shape, MouldAfrica, Texsamton Coaching & Cankata Consulting).
Under his leadership, I immersed myself in the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) curriculum that powers their mentoring framework. Since 2019, I’ve devoted a portion of my life to this mission — directly mentoring over 500 teenagers across Nigeria and designing transformational EQ-based programs used across different institutions .
what makes us different
We don’t preach. We engage.
We don’t guess. We measure.
We don’t fix. We equip.
We don’t impose. We coach, collaborate and inspire
We use a tested EQ and Teen Psychology-based curriculum developed by the leadership at MouldAfrica, EQMentors Hub and EQ2Homes, tailored to empower teenagers with:
In one of our flagship projects, we worked with over 60 secondary school students from Grace Model School, Ovwian, over a full academic year. Our pre-mentoring assessment showed that these teens were struggling with:
Peer pressure
Low moral standards
Poor student-teacher relationships
Academic inconsistency
Using our Teen Index Diagnostic Tool, we identified core issues, built custom mentoring pathways, and implemented a curriculum rooted in the book “I Wish I Knew This Before I Was Fourteen”, with engaging activities, story-based discussions, and non-confrontational strategies.
After just one year:
30% improvement in peer pressure resistance
18% increase in moral awareness and personal ethics
Significant gains in academic performance and self-confidence
The program was interesting and I learned a lot of things. I learned that we should not follow bad friends, we should keep ourselves

This program has brought significant change to my school. I witnessed students who initially struggled to express themselves blossom into confident individuals with improved problem-solving abilities as the mentoring deepened. We also observed a notable overall improvement in academic performance.
Mrs. Phina Baiye,
Principal, Divine Crown Kano State
From the stories I learned that we should not follow the bad advice of our friend because we will bear the consequences alone. I learned that bullying people is bad and I will try to stop bullying and insulting my classmates

This program is so good. As a parent, I struggle to get my daughter to read but since this program started, I have caught it reading by herself severally. As a teacher I will recommend every school to opt for this…
